Have you noticed the long break from blogging?
Well... It's been because I've been doing some soul searching. I've been trying to decide if blogging was something that I wanted to spend my time doing. With so many things on my plate (as we all have)... I want to make sure that I use the time God has given me wisely. I want to be a great wife, a great mother, a great friend....
"Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it you can never get it back."
I want to follow God's plan for my life..
I want to run...
I want to learn the guitar. I want to create a peaceful home with lots of fun memories.
I want real friendships with long talks and coffee.
I want to live life fully, intentionally, passionately, and deliberately....
I want to laugh often.. Can I do this when trying to do everything?
I often refer back to the quote "You can do ANYTHING; But you can't do EVERYTHING" This article sums up a lot of what I've been pondering.
Why do I want to blog? Here are my top three reasons.
TOP THREE REASONS TO BLOG
1. It holds me accountable.
- Blogging helps me not to become complacent. It helps me to scribble down my ponderings and strive to continually grow in the faith.
- There are several blogs that I read that have encouraged me. Who knows?.... God might use my mess to encourage someone else.
So with lots of prayer and talking and guidance from my husband... We have decided that this little "Embracing Grace" blog is a journey that we do want to go on.
I hope that you will join me on this journey of mine... Let's Do Life together.
